President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Tamás Sulyok of Hungary at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting addressed relations between Türkiye and Hungary as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan stated that they are working to elevate the deep-rooted relations between Türkiye and Hungary beyond an advanced level of strategic partnership, to promote cooperation, and to bolster the political, economic, and cultural unity that exists between the two countries.
Expressing the importance of Hungary's solidarity with Türkiye in terms of revitalizing Türkiye's European Union membership process, President Erdoğan extended his thanks to Hungary for its contributions to the Organization of Turkic States as an observer member.
President Erdoğan added that with an understanding of maintaining Syria's unity and territorial integrity, Türkiye will continue to support the new process that the Syrian people will initiate to get their country back on its feet.
