President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Baku for the World Leaders Climate Action Summit of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), met with President Maia Sandu of Moldova.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Moldova, as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan stated at the meeting that relations between Türkiye and Moldova will persist in their advancement on the basis of strategic partnership.
Pointing out that the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, where the Israeli genocide is still ongoing, has reached catastrophic proportions and that the situation in Lebanon has deteriorated considerably, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye will continue to do its utmost to ensure peace in the region.
