President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia, who is paying a visit to Türkiye, at the Presidential Complex.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Somalia, as well as regional issues, were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated that cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia will continue to grow stronger, and that steps will be taken to further develop the relationship.
Emphasizing that Türkiye will continue to stand by the people of Somalia in their fight against terrorism, President Erdoğan underlined the importance of Somalia achieving national unity in its counterterrorism efforts.
