President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Egypt for the “Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit,” met with President Emmanuel Macron of France.
The meeting addressed Türkiye-France bilateral relations as well as the situation in Gaza.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan expressed their commitment to enhance cooperation between Türkiye and France across all areas.
President Erdoğan emphasised the importance of ensuring the continuation of the ceasefire and the reconstruction efforts in Gaza, and noted that Türkiye maintains its uninterrupted humanitarian assistance in order to end the humanitarian tragedy in the region.
Our President also highlighted the significance of a two-state solution for establishing lasting peace.
