President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Astana for the 24th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, met with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Mongolia as well as regional and global issues were discussed.
Stating that it is important to elevate relations with Mongolia, with which Türkiye has deep-rooted cultural and historical ties, to higher levels in every field, President Erdoğan added that efforts should continue to be made in this direction.
