President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Bishkek for the 11th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.
The meeting addressed relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global issues.
Pointing out that the relationship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continues to develop in every field, President Erdoğan voiced his belief that bilateral relations would be elevated to a perfect level with the economic and strategic actions that are to be undertaken and expressed the importance of the Trans-Caspian East-West Middle Corridor initiative in this regard.
President Erdoğan also expressed his expectation that the 29th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties to be held in Azerbaijan will result in significant decisions and voiced his wish for the summit to be auspicious.
