President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Italy.
The meeting addressed relations between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan stated that it is important for the Islamic world to oppose in unity the genocidal policies implemented by Israel in the Palestinian territories.
Noting that the establishment of an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the easy delivery of aid for humanitarian needs dispatched to the region for the Palestinians must be considered the primary agenda items, President Erdoğan stated that efforts must be made in this regard.
