President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Johannesburg, South Africa for the G20 Summit, met with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong of Singapore.
The meeting addressed developments in investment and trade relations between the two countries, Türkiye’s Dialogue Partnership with ASEAN, and progress within the Re-Asia Initiative.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye aims further to advance its strategic partnership with Singapore across all fields, and that efforts in this direction will continue to intensify.
Emphasizing the importance of preserving the ceasefire in Gaza and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region, President Erdoğan noted that the formula for lasting peace lies in a two-state solution and that Türkiye is making every effort to help achieve it.
