President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Baku for the World Leaders Climate Action Summit of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), met with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and the United Kingdom, as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan stated at the meeting that efforts aimed at improving relations between Türkiye and the United Kingdom, as well as boosting trade volume, will persist.
President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye continues exerting efforts to put an end to the conflicts in the region, particularly in Ukraine, Palestine, and Lebanon.
