President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh of Libya at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Libya as well as regional and global matters.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the Government of National Unity is the legitimate interlocutor in Libya for Türkiye and that they will continue to develop relations between Türkiye and Libya in many areas, particularly in energy, security, and maritime.
President Erdoğan also noted that close contact and cooperation will continue to safeguard the shared interests of Türkiye and Libya in the Eastern Mediterranean.
