President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in New York for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah of Kuwait at the Turkish House.
The meeting addressed Türkiye–Kuwait bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
Stating that it is essential to develop relations between Türkiye and Kuwait in many areas, especially trade, President Erdoğan said that they will continue to work to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Highlighting the importance of Islamic countries demonstrating a common stance against Israel’s massacres in Palestinian territories, President Erdoğan stressed that negotiations must continue to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
Underlining the importance of focusing on reconstruction and development based on ensuring Syria’s territorial integrity, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye’s support for Syria will continue.
