In a post he shared on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the nation and the Muslim world on Lailat al-Barat.
In his congratulatory message, President Erdoğan said, "I congratulate my nation and the whole Muslim world on the Lailat Al-Barat we mark tonight, the herald of the month of Ramadan. I wish from Allah that this blessed night would be auspicious for our country, our nation and for the entire humanity."
The image that President Erdoğan shared with his message included the fourth verse from Surah ad-Dukhan: “On that night every matter of wisdom is ordained”.
