President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that in the Century of Türkiye, they would continue to support citizens with disabilities in all areas, including education, healthcare, social services, and employment.
President Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account on the occasion of the December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In his post shared with the hashtag "We overcame the barriers together," President Erdoğan said, "On the occasion of the December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I extend my most heartfelt greetings and affection to all my disabled brothers and sisters. In the Century of Türkiye, we will continue to support our citizens with disabilities in all areas, including education, healthcare, social services, and employment."
President Erdoğan also shared a video clip for the song "Century of Türkiye," played by the orchestra and choir, which featured artists and conservatory students with disabilities, under the direction of musician and composer Yücel Arzen and filmed in Türk Ocağı (Turkish Hearth) Hall in Ankara. The clip also included emotional moments of President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan with people with disabilities.
