"We regard Africa Day as a powerful symbol of brotherhood, solidarity, and hope for a shared future. From Sudan to Somalia, from Kenya to Libya, and from the Horn of Africa to the Sahel region, we share both the pain and the joy experienced across every corner of the continent with a sincere sense of fraternity.
With its steadfast stance of never abandoning friends in difficult times, Türkiye continues to stand by the peoples of Africa in every field, ranging from humanitarian assistance and development projects to diplomacy and education. Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our country continues to strengthen its relations with the African continent on the basis of mutual respect, justice, and heartfelt bonds. Today, the strong cooperation between Türkiye and the friendly and brotherly African countries stands as one of the clearest manifestations of a shared conscience that gives voice to the oppressed.
On this occasion, I congratulate Africa Day and express my hope that together we will build a strong future where peace, prosperity, stability, and justice prevail."
