In a post shared on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan marked the 570th anniversary of Istanbul’s Conquest.
In his post, President Erdoğan stated, "I congratulate the 570th anniversary of Istanbul's Conquest, which is the historical seal that Anatolia will forever remain a Turkish homeland.
I commemorate with mercy and respect Fatih Sultan Mehmed Han and his mighty army, who had the honour of living up to our Prophet’s praise and ushered in a new age.”
