President Erdoğan leaves USA

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Türkiye at 05:25 UTC+3 after completing his discussions in the scope of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations.

President Erdoğan was seen off at John F. Kennedy International Airport by Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to the UN Sedat Önal,  Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Hasan Murat Mercan and Türkiye's Consul General in New York Reyhan Özgür.

Along with President Erdoğan, First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Treasury and Finance  Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Family and Social Services  Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır,  director of National Intelligence Organization (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, Presidency's  Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun,  Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, AK Party Deputy Chairman Binali Yıldırım, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and some officials also departed for Türkiye.
