President Erdoğan leaves Italy

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Türkiye from Italy, where he was attending the G7 Leaders Summit.

President Erdoğan was bid farewell at Brindisi Airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Rome Ömer Güçlük, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Holy See Ufuk Ulutaş, and officials from the Embassy in Rome and the State of Vatican.

President Erdoğan was accompanied by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Deputy Head of Communications Çağatay Özdemir on his return flight to Türkiye.
