President Erdoğan, Kazakh President Tokayev talk over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan.

The call addressed the steps that would strengthen the Türkiye-Kazakhstan relations as well as the regional developments, particularly the Russia-Ukraine war.

During the call, President Erdoğan noted that the need for the Trans-Caspian East-West-Middle Corridor had further increased due to the Russia-Ukraine war. President Erdoğan, in this regard, pointed out that the necessity of ensuring full liberalisation in transportation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan had arisen and that it would be beneficial to take concrete steps accordingly.

President Erdoğan and President Tokayev of Kazakhstan exchanged Ramadan greetings as well.
