The call addressed the Türkiye-Indonesia relations and global developments.
Congratulating Indonesian President-elect Subianto on his election victory, President Erdoğan expressed his expectations that the deep-rooted relations between Türkiye and Indonesia would further strengthen in the new era and that the cooperation between the two countries would advance in every field, particularly in defense industry, military, trade and financial areas, on the basis of mutual trust and common interests.
Stressing that it is important to continue collaboration with Indonesia on the Palestinian cause as well as on all issues related to the Islamic world, President Erdoğan pointed out that the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council established between the two countries should be held at the earliest convenience.
The two leaders also exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings during the call.
