President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Bishkek Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship State Hospital, constructed by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Bishkek.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan stated that they were happy to establish such a hospital for Kyrgyzstan and said, "There is nothing else but to be proud of such a 150-bed hospital."
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated that the establishment of this hospital was instructed by President Erdoğan in order to enhance the quality of healthcare services in Kyrgyzstan.
Noting that the hospital had an area of 12 thousand square meters, Memişoğlu stated that the hospital was also capable of performing all types of liver and kidney transplants.
Minister Memişoğlu expressed hope for the hospital's success and said, "We made an investment of 9 million dollars here. Aside from that, we provided 19 million dollars in healthcare aid. We signed another five-year cooperation agreement. We will provide 35 million dollars in aid to our Kyrgyz brothers. We will do our best to provide better healthcare services here."
Memişoğlu said that six doctors from Türkiye and 35 doctors from Kyrgyzstan were working in the hospital and that, so far, four thousand outpatient visits had been received and one thousand surgeries had been performed.

Following the prayers, President Erdoğan and his entourage cut the ribbon to inaugurate the hospital.
President Erdoğan was accompanied by President Ersin Tatar of TRNC, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and Chairman of Council of Elders of the Organisation of Turkic States Binali Yıldırım.
Following the inauguration, President Erdoğan inspected the hospital and received information from the staff.

After the opening ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Bishkek Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship State Hospital, President Erdoğan attended a dinner in honour of the Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of Turkic States in Kyrgyzstan.
Delegations from the participating countries also attended the dinner hosted by President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan at the Presidential Palace in Bishkek.
