President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Budapest at the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary to attend a part of the World Athletics Championships, hosted by Hungary, and Hungary's National Day celebrations.
Upon his arrival at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, President Erdoğan was welcomed by Hungarian State Secretary for European Affairs János Bóka, Chief of Protocol Anett Varga, Hungary’s Ambassador to Türkiye Viktor Mátis, and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Hungary Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat are accompanying President Erdoğan on his visit to Hungary.
