President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "In Africa, we do not and will not leave any friend whose door has not been knocked, any heart whose pain has not been healed, or any country that has not been collaborated with."

President Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account regarding the Türkiye-Africa Economic and Business Forum.

In the post he shared, President Erdoğan said, "I hope that the Türkiye-Africa Economic and Business Forum, which we are holding for the third time today, would be auspicious for our countries. In Africa, we do not and will not leave any friend whose door has not been knocked, any heart whose pain has not been healed, or any country that has not been collaborated with."

Featuring an infographic in his post, President Erdoğan stated that 45 countries attended the Türkiye-Africa Economic and Business Forum, where he also gave a speech.

President Erdoğan emphasised that in addition to the official delegation of 250 people among the participating countries, Vice President of South Sudan, 28 ministers, seven deputy ministers, African Union Economic Development, Trade, Industry and Mining Commissioner, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), East African Community (EAC), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and nearly 3,000 businesspeople from Türkiye and African countries were also present at the Forum.

President Erdoğan pointed out that the share of Africa in Türkiye's trade with the world was 6.5 per cent.

Noting that panels on the African Continental Free Trade Area, investment, innovation, banking, health and women's leadership were held as part of the Forum, President Erdoğan said: "G2B meetings, which brought together African countries' officials and businesspeople, and B2B meetings, which brought together private sector representatives, were held. Ministerial meeting with the theme 'Deepening Türkiye-Africa Partnership: Trade, Investment, Technology & Logistics' was also held."
