President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted a dinner in honour of the leaders who attended the inauguration ceremony at the Çankaya Mansion.
In his speech at the dinner, President Erdoğan stated:
Respected heads of state and government, heads of parliament, ministers, and esteemed guests, I would like to extend to you my most heartfelt greetings. Welcome to Türkiye. I am very pleased to host you in our country on this proud day. I would like to thank you once again for your participation in our inauguration ceremony. I would also like to thank all of our friends who sent their messages of congratulations via phone calls or messages, even though they could not be with us today.
Stating that the nation will never forget the participants' appreciation, President Erdoğan continued as follows:
"We will continue to expand our collaboration in all fields with a win-win understanding based on our common interests." So far, we have pursued robust, enterprising, and humanitarian diplomacy on the ground and at the negotiating table with a principled and determined stance. We have taken a peaceful approach to foreign policy and security issues. We have transformed our country into an effective international diplomatic power by expanding our diplomatic network."
Stating that on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, a new era was beginning, President Erdoğan said:
"Currently, as the global system is besieged by crises, our primary objective is to construct the 21st century as one of peace, prosperity, and stability. We will strive to establish stability in our region and beyond through a dialogue- and diplomacy-based stance that prioritises common sense, conscience, and moderation. The most recent example of this is our stance during the Russia-Ukraine crisis. We prevented a potential global food crisis through the grain deal.
We will use the new term to Türkiye's advantage and bolster Türkiye's position as a regional power and global actor. We will continue to collaborate with all of our stakeholders and partners to establish a fairer and more peaceful order. We'll be looking to the west as well as the east. However, our primary course is towards reality, the truth, and justice. I pray that Allah may keep our path clear and our good fortune everlasting."
During the dinner, President Erdoğan conversed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, Armenian Patriarch of Türkiye Sahak Maşalyan, AK Party İstanbul Deputy Sevan Sıvacıoğlu, and Chairman of the Board of Çağdaş Factoring and Karagözyan Foundation Dikran Gülmezgil.
Following the dinner, President Erdoğan, First Lady Emine Erdoğan, and the guests signed a poster board that read "Inauguration Ceremony of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye" in the hall.
