President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted a dinner in honour of the heads of state and government, who came to Konya for the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.
After his contacts in Mersin, President Erdoğan travelled to Konya by helicopter.
At the Selçuklu Congress Centre, President Erdoğan met with heads of state and government as well as other officials at the dinner for the opening ceremony of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games which was held with the participation of the members of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The dinner was attended by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh of Palestine, Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania, Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane of Algeria, Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia and President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun and Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın.
