President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held ten bilateral talks during the G20 Leaders’ Summit organized in Osaka, Japan.
On the first day of the Summit, President Erdoğan took part in the family photoshoot and then attended the sessions.
President Erdoğan held ten bilateral talks at INTEX Osaka Fair Centre where the Summit took place. He accepted the President of the World Bank David Malpass and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Erdoğan had a meeting with French President Emanuel Macron, with whom he came together and had a conversation on the first day of the Summit. Their meeting lasted an hour.
President Erdoğan started the second day of the Summit with a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. He also conversed with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the family photo, a session called “Global Economy, Trade and Investment” and before the working lunch. Erdoğan and Putin held a one-hour meeting on the second day of the Summit.
President Erdoğan also accepted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
President Erdoğan and the US President Donald Trump stood side by side during the family photoshoot and spent a while talking. The two leaders then came together for a meeting that lasted over half an hour on the last day of the Summit.
President Erdoğan also accepted Prime Minister of the UK Theresa May and finally UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
