President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Leyla Gülüşken, the daughter of Emrullah Gülüşken who was brought to Turkey from Sweden on an air ambulance.

President Erdoğan shared a post on his Twitter account, saying "Today, I held a phone conversation with my sister Leyla, whose father, Emrullah, was brought to Turkey from Sweden on an air ambulance. Thanks be to Allah, who enabled us to share her happiness. Our state is deeply in love with its nation. Even if its loved ones are far away, our state never abandons them.”

The post Erdoğan shared on his Twitter account also featured a video of the phone conversation he held.

Erdoğan asked Leyla Gülüşken how she was during the conversation and added:

“Your father has arrived in Turkey. Hopefully, our friends will follow up the period ahead. He is now in safe hands, and may Allah grant him healing and recovery. We did our duty, and we are obliged to do so. Thank Allah, Turkey is one of the top few countries in healthcare. Rest assured. We will do all that has to be done in medical terms to the fullest. Do not worry; we will follow the process through. Never worry at all. We follow up the process. My advisor is a cardiologist himself. He will also closely monitor the process. Hopefully, we will witness a happy ending. Let us pray, and do our part.”

Leyla Gülüşken said to President Erdoğan, “Mr. President, May Allah be pleased with you. Thank you very much; I cannot thank you enough for what you have done. I am so happy to talk with you. I already have every confidence in our state and in you. I am so happy that they are in Turkey.”
