President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
During the conversation, regional issues, including primarily the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, were discussed.
President Erdoğan noted that they preferred a fairness- and dialogue-based approach to the resolution of the issues in the Eastern Mediterranean within the scope of international law.
Also discussed during the conversation were potential steps to enhance Turkey-Germany relations.
