To see the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) quarterfinals match between the Turkish and Netherlands national football teams, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan flew to Berlin.
President Erdoğan took "TUR" plane to Berlin to support the National Football Team, which is playing the Netherlands at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament hosted by Germany, while Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and other officials saw him off at Atatürk Airport.
Along with President Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Presidency's Deputy Head of Communications Çağatay Özdemir also travelled to Germany.
