President Erdoğan extends his condolences to North Macedonia for lives lost in bus crash

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extended his condolences to North Macedonia for the loss of 46 persons in a bus crash in Bulgaria on November 23, 12 of whom were children.

In the post he shared on his social media accounts, President Erdoğan said: "I am deeply saddened by the tragic bus crash involving our North Macedonian brothers and sisters travelling from Istanbul to Skopje in Bulgaria. I wish Allah’s mercy on our brothers and sisters who lost their lives in this tragic accident that deeply upset the Turkish people and me, as well as patience for their grieving families. I extend my condolences to the Government and people of North Macedonia and I wish our injured brothers and sisters a speedy recovery."
