In a post on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wished Allah's mercy upon the victims of the hotel fire at Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort and a speedy recovery to the injured.
In his statement on the fire, President Erdoğan said:
"I wish Allah's mercy upon our citizens who perished in the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, and I hope that the injured will recover quickly. I extend my deepest sympathies to Bolu and to all of my brothers and sisters who have been affected by this tragic incident. We have been closely monitoring the situation through our respective institutions from the moment it occurred, and investigations have been initiated immediately."
