President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan departed for Samarkand, Uzbekistan, boarding a “TC-TRK” plane at 10:20 a.m. to attend the 9th Summit of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
Vice President Fuat Oktay and the other officials bid President Erdoğan farewell at Esenboğa Airport.
President Erdoğan was joined on his flight to Samarkand by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, and Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun.
