President Erdoğan delivers video message to “2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity” ceremony

President Erdoğan said, "I would like to particularly express how highly I value both the courageous steps taken by my brother Ilham Aliyev and the resolute will demonstrated by Prime Minister Pashinyan towards the establishment of lasting peace."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a video message to the "2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" ceremony.

Beginning his message by greeting those participating in the ceremony from different countries, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his hope that the “2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity” would serve the benefit of all, particularly the award recipients.

Expressing his immense pleasure in conveying the greetings of the 86 million people of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, “I hope that the awards, which have been presented since 2019, will contribute to world peace and stability, especially during these times we are going through. I wholeheartedly congratulate President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia on being honoured with this year’s awards."

President Erdoğan stated the following in his message:

"I would like to particularly express how highly I value both the courageous steps taken by my brother Ilham Aliyev and the resolute will demonstrated by Prime Minister Pashinyan towards the establishment of lasting peace. I believe that with the agreement—on whose purpose, scope, wording, and spirit both sides have reached consensus—now entering into force, an entirely new chapter will unfold for the future of the Caucasus. As Türkiye, we sincerely support all initiatives focused on peace, calm, prosperity, and stability in our region and across the world. We will continue to do all that is required of us to ensure that lasting peace prevails in the Caucasus and to actively play a role in building bridges of friendship founded on equity, inshallah."

Congratulating both President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia, President Erdoğan wished that the “2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity” would bring benefit to all humanity.
