President Erdoğan converses with President Niinistö of Finland and President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spent some time conversing with President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea, who joined him and President Sauli Niinistö of Finland at the UN General Assembly.

President Erdoğan, who is in New York for the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 77), introduced President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea to President Niinistö during their interaction at the United Nations Headquarters.

Yoon Suk-yeol expressed appreciation for President Erdoğan's leadership and role in NATO.

In response to Yoon Suk-yeol’s invitation, President Erdoğan noted his intention to visit South Korea at his earliest convenience, saying, "We need to meet. There is much work to be done.”

President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea also mentioned that First Lady Kim Kun-hee would be attending the Turkish culinary event hosted by First Lady Emine Erdoğan in New York.
