Ayşe Begüm Onbaşı, who has become the first Turkish athlete to win gold in the senior category at the aerobic gymnastics world championships, said, "We have shown the strength of Turkish women. I would like to thank you once again for your support for Turkish sports and the Gymnastics Federation."
In the post shared on his Twitter account, President Erdoğan said “Türkiye is proud of you, my daughter Ayşe. I sincerely wish you and all of my young children continued success. I salute you with affection. To many championships.”
