President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the Vakıfbank Women's Volleyball Team on winning the 2022 CEV Women's Champions League Volley by defeating its Italian rival Imoco Volley 3-1 in the Super Final.
President Erdoğan spoke by phone with Vakıfbank CEO Abdi Serdar Üstünsalih, Head Coach Giovanni Guidetti and the players to congratulate them on their championship in the CEV Champions League.
In his post on social media, President Erdoğan said, “On behalf of myself and my nation, I sincerely congratulate the Vakıfbank Women's Volleyball Team on their title in the CEV Women's Champions League, which caps off their exceptional achievement in the 2021-2022 season.”
