President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran.
The call addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Iran and regional and global matters.
During the call, President Erdoğan expressed his belief that the relations between Türkiye and Iran will continue to develop in every field in the new period with the strength they draw from their deep-rooted history.
President Erdoğan congratulated Mr. Pezeshkian on his election victory and wished him success in his new position.
