President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the athletes who won medals at the Women's World Boxing Championship hosted by the International Boxing Association in Türkiye.
In a post he shared on his social media account, President Erdoğan said, "On behalf of myself and my nation, I sincerely congratulate our national athletes, who made history by winning 5 gold and 2 bronze medals and becoming champions as a team at the Women's World Boxing Championship hosted by Türkiye. Now, hopefully, the target is the Paris Olympics."
President Erdoğan called the national team athletes and the technical delegation to express his congratulations.
