The sixth meeting of the Türkiye-Hungary High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) was attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
A cooperation agreement comprising seventeen articles was signed between the two countries under the Council Meeting co-chaired by President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary.
In attendance at the agreement signing were Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, as well as Hungarian officials.

President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Orbán of Hungary signed the Joint Political Declaration on Upgrading the Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Türkiye and Hungary to the Level of Enhanced Strategic Partnership.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary János Csák signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Social Services between the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary János Csák signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on Alumni Policies and Scholarship Programmes between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, and the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary János Csák signed the Declaration of Intent to Cooperate for 2025 the Year of Joint Science and Innovation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Defence of Hungary Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky inked the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Defence Technologies Research, Development, and Innovation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Defence of Hungary.
President of Defence Industries Haluk Görgün and Minister of Defence of Hungary Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Defence Industries between the Presidency's Presidency of Defence Industries and the Ministry of Defence of Hungary.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Audiovisual Policy and Government Communication between the Presidency's Directorate of Communications and the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary was signed by Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Nuclear Energy between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary was signed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
The Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Civil Emergencies between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of Hungary was signed by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya and Minister of Interior of Hungary Sandor Pinter.
Signatures for joint cooperation by the Ministries of Interior
Following the signing ceremony in the presence of President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Orbán, the Declaration of Intent on the Establishment of a Joint Cooperation Mechanism between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Interior of Hungary was signed in the same field by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya and Minister of Interior of Hungary Sandor Pinter.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between Nurol Holding and Raba and N7 was signed by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nurol Holding Oğuz Çarmıklı and Minister of Defence of Hungary Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
In addition, within the scope of the Turkish delegation's contacts in Hungary, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between BOTAŞ and MVM was signed between BOTAŞ Deputy General Manager Abdülvahit Fidan and MVM CEO Karoly Matrai.
The Memorandum of Understanding between Gülermak and V-HID was signed by Chairman of the Board of Directors Kemal Güleryüz and Chairman of the Board of Directors of V-HID Lorinc Meszaros.
The Protocol on Cooperation between the State Archives of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Hungarian National Archives was signed by Director of the State Archives of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Uğur Ünal and Director General of the Hungarian Archives Csaba Szabo. The Additional Protocol on Cooperation between TRT and MTV and DUNA was also signed by TRT General Director Mehmet Zahid Sobacı and MTVA Chairman Daniel Papp.
Yunus Emre Institute President Şeref Ateş and ELTE Rector Laszlo Borhy signed the Protocol on Cooperation in the field of Turkology between Yunus Emre Institute and Eötvös Lorand (ELTE) University.
