After the Cabinet Meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a chat with press members and posed for photos in the garden of the Presidential Complex.
President Erdoğan congratulated the press members on Eid al-Fitr and then walked to the observation hill of the Complex with the journalists.
There, President Erdoğan answered journalists' questions.
In response to the question, "Your diplomacy traffic is rather active after Eid; what are the items on your agenda?" President Erdoğan said, "For example, the President of Tanzania will visit Türkiye. Tanzania is an important country in Africa. This is why her visit to Türkiye is extremely important. The steps we will take with them hold important opportunities in terms of investments as well as diplomatic matters."
Upon the question regarding which topics would be discussed during his visit to Baghdad, President Erdoğan pointed out that the Iraqi side attached great importance to this visit and said:
"With this visit, as Türkiye and Iraq, we will base our relations on new ground. The water issue is one of the most important agenda items for our visit. They had certain demands from us regarding the water issue; this is what we are currently working on. We will work on resolving this issue with them. They also want to resolve this issue. We will take our steps in that direction. There are also issues of natural gas and oil flow to Türkiye, and we will be making efforts to address them as well. We may also pay a visit to Erbil after our visit to Baghdad and hold talks with the authorities there. Our officials are working on this matter."

When asked about the date of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Türkiye, President Erdoğan said, "We frequently hold telephone conversations with Mr Putin. The date of his visit to Türkiye has not yet been clarified. I believe that it will be clarified as soon as possible.
