President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany.
The two leaders exchanged views about the Israel-Palestine conflict, followed regionally and globally with concern, and the search for solutions to humanitarian crises.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye has been exerting all kinds of efforts for the crisis to end as soon as possible, and stands ready to take numerous peaceful steps, including mediation.
President Erdoğan noted that, for a permanent solution to the conflict, the promises made to Palestine must be kept and that the international community must lead the way for the establishment of a geographically integrated, independent and sovereign State of Palestine within the 1967 borders with East al-Quds as its capital.
