President Erdoğan chairs the Foreign Policy Review Meeting

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired the Foreign Policy Review Meeting.

Regional developments, particularly relating to the Eastern Mediterranean, Libya, Nagorno-Karabakh and Syria, and steps to strengthen the ties with European Union were discussed at the meeting held at Vahdettin Mansion.

During the meeting in which the current state of affairs in foreign politics was reviewed under several topics extending from bilateral relations to global developments, it was underlined that Turkey would resolutely continue to implement, through diplomacy and dialogue, the steps to "boost its influence, protect its rights and national interests, and enhance its reputation" in foreign politics, as well, as in every other area.

Also in attendance were Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, and Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın.
