President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan.
The call addressed the developments in Sudan.
President Erdoğan voiced his sadness and concerns over the increase in casualties and injuries in the infighting in Sudan.
Noting that Türkiye is ready to host the talks if a decision is taken to start comprehensive negotiations, President Erdoğan stated that they will continue their efforts in contact with the United Nations to ensure that the urgent humanitarian needs of the Sudanese people are met.
The call also addressed matters regarding the evacuation and safety of Turkish citizens in Sudan.
