President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Chairman Bakir Izetbegovic of the Party of Democratic Action of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The call addressed the latest situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in all its dimensions as well as regional developments.
Stating that Türkiye is following the developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina very closely and meticulously, President Erdoğan said that the increasing tension in Bosnia and Herzegovina should be brought to an end as soon as possible within the framework of Bosnia and Herzegovina's constitutional order and the rule of law.
Noting that Türkiye will continue its strong support to protect the territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, President Erdoğan said that necessary warnings were given, in this context, to President Milorad Dodik of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well.
Underlining that the developments in Bosnia-Herzegovina did not stem from a conflict between the founding peoples, President Erdoğan said that it was important for the political parties supporting territorial integrity in Bosnia-Herzegovina to unite on a minimum common ground, and that the international community should display a strong stance against separatism in the region.
