In a post he shared on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan celebrated May 14, World Farmers’ Day.
In his message, President Erdoğan said, “On May 14, World Farmers' Day, I congratulate all my farmer brothers and sisters, who are the guarantee of self-sufficiency and who practice the profession of labour, production, and sweat. We will continue to stand by our farmers, whom we have supported with a total of 464 billion liras over the past two decades.”
In addition, in the image that President Erdoğan included in his message, it was stated that in 2022, 29 billion liras of support will be provided to farmers.
