President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called Transitional Military Council Chairman Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno of Chad to extend his condolences over the passing of his father, President Idriss Deby Itno of Chad.
During the conversation, President Erdoğan expressed his deep sorrow for the passing of President Itno of Chad and extended his condolences to his family and the people of Chad.
President Erdoğan emphasised the late Itno's contribution to establishing fraternity and friendship relation between Türkiye and Chad, noting that Türkiye will continue to stand by the people of Chad in this difficult time, as it has always done.
