In a statement posted on his social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called on Israel to cease its attacks on Gaza.
President Erdoğan said, "The ever-increasing Israeli bombardments against Gaza, which intensified last night, have once again targeted women, children, and innocent civilians and deepened the humanitarian crisis. Israel must immediately get out of this state of madness and stop its attacks."
In his post, Erdoğan stated, "I invite all my brothers and sisters to the Great Palestine Rally at Istanbul Atatürk Airport today, where we will make these calls stronger and shout that we stand with the Palestinian people against Israeli oppression."
