President Erdoğan attends 2023 Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards Ceremony

Speaking at the 2023 Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “As has been the case in every area, in culture and arts as well, we are determined to elevate our country to a level in keeping with our goals for the Century of Türkiye. The way to make the most of the second century of our Republic and our millennial existence in Anatolia is to rejuvenate our civilization with all its material and spiritual elements.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the 2023 Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards Ceremony in Ankara.

Touching upon the crimes of humanity committed in Gaza, President Erdoğan said those who have the capability to stop this massacre do not do it, and those who want to sincerely do it do not have the means, and added: “In fact everyone knows what is going on there. That the tens of well-known state administrations in the world remain to be a mere onlooker to Israel’s brutal attacks based on massacre and theft is a disgrace to all the humanity. History will duly judge all those who allow, turn a blind eye to and seek to legitimize this hideous picture. We believe that this trial should be immediately seen, not left to history. The initiatives we have launched are increasingly supported in the world. 2024 will inshallah be a year when oppressors are punished in a way they deserve, and when the wounds of the oppressed are healed.”

Congratulating all the awardees of the 2023 Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Awards, President Erdoğan thanked each of them for the values they have added to Türkiye, and said: “As has been the case in every area, in culture and arts as well, we are determined to elevate our country to a level in keeping with our goals for the Century of Türkiye. The way to make the most of the second century of our Republic and our millennial existence in Anatolia is to rejuvenate our civilization with all its material and spiritual elements.”
