President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Mario Draghi of Italy attended a special concert organised by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO) on behalf of the Italian-Turkish Intergovernmental Summit at the Presidential Complex.
In memory of the concert, President Erdoğan presented Draghi with the notes of the Mecidiye March, composed by Donizetti Pasha (Giuseppe Donizetti) for Sultan Abdülmecid and used as the imperial anthem between 1839-1861.
Among the guests at the concert were also the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Mustafa Şentop, Vice President Fuat Oktay and President of the Constitutional Court Zühtü Arslan.
