President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan showed their support by applauding healthcare professionals who work devotedly against the coronavirus pandemic.
In a video shared on his Twitter account, Erdoğan and First Lady showed their support for healthcare professionals by applauding them at 21.00 hours at their residence in Kısıklı.
In his post on Twitter, Erdoğan said, “On behalf of myself, my family and my nation, I extend my greetings, my love and definitely my applause to all healthcare professionals, the selfless and devoted heroes of our fight against coronavirus, who endure all kinds of difficulties and challenges.”
During his speech in the video, Erdoğan said, "The struggle put up by our healthcare professionals is beyond all praise. We greet them with respect. We send our greetings and love to all the healthcare professionals. On behalf of myself, my family and my nation, I extend my greetings and love to the healthcare professionals, who endure all kinds of difficulties and challenges in this regard.”
President Erdoğan saluted by putting his hand on his heart and said, “This is a salute from my heart. Let us resist by avoiding the streets until we overcome this scourge.”
