President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan laid the foundation of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan Natural Gas Pipeline.
President Erdoğan, who came to Nakhchivan for a one-day working visit upon Aliyev's invitation, had a one-on-one meeting with President Aliyev of Azerbaijan at the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Following the meeting, the two leaders connected via video to the site of the groundbreaking for the Iğdır-Nakhchivan Natural Gas Pipeline.
President Erdoğan and Aliyev pressed the button to begin laying the natural gas pipeline's foundation.
